Those whose pet allergies trigger allergic bronchitis or asthma, may also develop the following respiratory symptoms: - Cough

These series are an artistic interpretation of the world of cats through the lenses of my allergy. A visual reaction of the way I am forced to enjoy cats: from the distance. An essay that enhances the beauty of these felines using there main facial features: eyes, ears and whiskers.
Playing with its combinations and a superposition of exposures from a single negative image, I created these cat “monsters” that represent the distorted image that the allergy has created of them in my brain.
The original image was taken in Sardinien, in a small village close to Cagliari, in June 2014:
Manual analogue interventions created directly on photographic paper in the laboratory. Multiple exposures combined with experimental chemical processes create unique images that can hardly be reproduced identically.
